Some good dam pies at Red Neds Gourmet Pies in Nelson Bay. So many flavours, so much choice. From the good old beef, chicken, seafood to the weird and wacky kangaroo, ostrich, venison and crocodile. We hit this place up probably once every one to two days on our trip.
I’ve never seen so many different types of pies in my life and each one was truly amazing. The seafood ones were so nice – there was one with a coconut based, super creamy without being sickening.
The lots pie was totally worth it, it had so much going on yet it just tasted good. It had hollandaise sauce in it! And I really really like hollandaise sauce. Also had finely diced onions which added a great sweetness to the pie.
